Holcim Vietnam Ltd. is a joint venture between Holcim Group of Switzerland and Ha Tien 1 Cement Company, a subsidiary of the Vietnam National Cement Corporation. The US$440 million joint venture was licensed to operate for 50 years in 1994.
Holcim Vietnam employs around 1,000 people at main sites: Head Office & Cat Lai terminal in Ho Chi Minh City, Hon Chong cement plant in Kien Giang province and Thi Vai grinding plant in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province. The company's production facilities are equipped with the most sophisticated and advanced technology to conform to international environmental protection standards.
