IT - Hardware/Networking, Executive management

Are you technical I.T focused, Have management experience and looking for bigger, brighter opportunities? Than join my client who is currently seeking a technically mined I.T manager.

With multiple challenges, environments and technology available; this role will see you responsible for the architecture, infrastructure and management of my client’s Security System, Mail System, data centre, performance tuning, capacity planning, and client server management. 

As the technical specialist / I.T manager you will be require to have:

-Have a minimum of 5 years technical commercial experience in Infrastructure / Development
-A minimum of 3 years experience managing and leading a team
-Excellent Server management experience
-Sound knowledge of Relational databases including MS SQL, IBM, DB2 Oracle & RAC
-Working experience in various environments like Windows, Linux & UNIX
-Extensive systems / networking background with technical experience administering, installing & configuring Servers, Systems, Routers Switches & Firewalls
-Good documentation skills with the ability to understand an organisation from a business perspective
-Extensive problem solving experience with an analytical approach to troubleshooting
-Experience implementing business strategies, policies and procedures

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Infrastructure /Development and who is highly proficient in managing business process and procedures. You will have completed a University degree in at least Computer Science and any other Microsoft certifications (MCSE, MCSA, CCNA, CCNP and CISSP) will be highly regarded; excellent communication skills both written and verbal in ENGLISH are essential
