Job Description
|
Purpose:
o The key purpose is to manage the financial aspects of the business including but not limited to managing the functions of accounting, taxation, reporting (internal and regulatory), funding as well as business planning and analysis. The role is aimed at ensuring the accuracy and compliance of the accounting and reporting process, development and execution of an appropriate funding strategy and providing effective inputs to the management decision process for driving the business planning and analysis function.
- Assist General Director in formulating business vision and strategic direction
- Establish customer focused culture in accounts function.

o Concurrently assume position of Secretariat to the Board of Management.
o Ensure compliance with corporate government and best practice.
Key outputs: (Key Accountabilities)
- Ensure to formulate, implement, and manage Financial Policy
- Agreed strategic plans
- Business Planning and Analysis
o The management of the financial database and use high end statistical and data management programs/ software to generate data and reports and make recommendations for management action. The activity will require high level of understanding of the business dynamics, processes and drivers to deliver the responsibility effectively
o Shared achievement of key business and financial objectives, including credit control and reinsurance recoveries
o Reliable system of business monitoring and reporting
o Competitor analysis
- Formulation and periodic review of accounting policy and its implementation
o To ensure accounting policies of the business are in line with local and applicable international GAAP and the financial operating systems / software are adequate to implement the same
o Maintain Group Accounting Policy
- Taxation
o Continue to explore and research on opportunity to optimize operation efficiency and business process effectiveness, to support organizational growth
- Expense control
o Monitoring and reporting of expenses within budget and favorably against industry benchmarks
o Manage implementation and ongoing development of the financial operating system
- Strategic Planning
o Active role in the planning the strategic direction and long term financial goals of the business.
- Monitor and report Operation risk
o Develop the Operation Risk matrix and Key Risk Indicators for the business as well as monitor and report on an ongoing basis.
- Business support
o Manage directly or through the group units the functions of procurement, vendor management as well as space planning premises

Job Requirements
|
Years of experience: 7 year(s)
Minimum career level: Manager
Minimum education level: Bachelors
- Local Vietnamese
- Qualifications:
o Professional accounting qualification or management qualification with major in finance.
o Chief accountant certificate
o University graduate
o Solid command of spoken and written English and Vietnamese
Skill/Knowledge
o Leadership with emphasis on strategic vision, change and business transform
o Teamwork spirit motivation skill
o Financial management skill
o Accounting policies – Local and International
o Taxation
o Cost accounting
o Commercial understanding of the business
Experience:
o Practical working experience, covering wide spectrum of roles and responsibilities in the financial services industry.
