An International Marine Safety Group with global operations in the US, Europe and Japan, is setting up manufacturing operations in Hanoi and looking for a Financial Manager to support the startup. With a tradition of high caliber marine safety products going back 3 generations and spanning the globe, we are looking for the same level of excellence in our people. 
The facility is to be a cutting edge manufacturing center, specializing in Marine Safety products for both Commercial and Consumer goods; PFD’s, Immersion Suits, Survival Suits and Technical Outer Wear.

Manufacturing, Textiles/Garments

The Financial Manager (FM) will work directly with the General Director and answer to the Board of Management (BOM) and therefore must be fluent in both English and Vietnamese. The financial manager is responsible for providing financial advice and support and supporting sound business decisions. 

We are looking for a strong record of Financial Management, Corporate Tax accounting as well as Import –Export Tax Management with foreign firms.

Minimum career level:  Manager 
Minimum education level:  Bachelors 

Requirements: 
- Local Vietnamese
- University graduate
- Financial skills should includ: P&L Product Costing/ Budgeting & Cash Management/ Long Term Business Modeling & Forecasting/ Preparing Accounts and Reconciling Balance Sheets
- Communication Skills: Providing & Interpreting Financial Information/ Leadership/ Dealing with Local Governments/ Corporate reporting/ Strategic Planning & Long Term Forecasting
- Operations: Startup investment management/ Duty & Excise Tax Management/ Employee Cost & Tax Management/ Vendor Management/ Import-Export Tax Management/ Monitoring Performance & Efficiency 
- Good command of both English and Vietnamese
- Computer literacy
