Job Description
As Community Affairs Manager, the jobholder will be responsible for the following duties 

GRANT MANAGEMENT

• Proactively explore community investment opportunities for the country(ies) covered by the subsidiary through strategic partnerships with eligible local non-profit organizations 
• Proactively explore donor partnerships where relevant, to enhance and expand the projects
• Manage the relationship with applicants and recipients and serve as a liaison between these and the company
• Conduct due diligence on UP-CTSP proposals (as outlined in the UP-CTSP application and guidelines) and present proposals to the Asia UP-CTSP review committee for annual review and grant-making decision
• Coordinate with the local PiL manager and Accessibility champ to explore venues for mutually leveraging the UP-CTSP programs with PiL and Accessibility projects respectively 
• Actively cooperate with the Asia UP-CTSP review team during the process of review of UP-CTSP grant proposals
• Conduct due diligence on non-UP CTSP grants in guidance with legal requirements and best standards and practices in grantmaking
• Conduct at least one site visit annually to Community Affairs programs funded by the company
• Secure required reporting from all grantees (input via CyberGrants); notify sub leadership and regional Community Affairs Director of any irregularities, recommendations, or amendments necessary to the grant 
• Secure end-of-project report from all grantees upon completion of the grant.
• Facilitate interaction between grantee and external evaluators and auditors. 
• Conduct above steps for any non-presence countries tagged to the subsidiary

SOFTWARE DONATIONS

• Manage sub s/w donation program for Community Affairs Open Licenses including implementation through the CyberGrants system.
• Consult with other units in the sub regarding s/w donations, to ensure uniform implementation of policies
• Conduct above steps for any non-presence countries tagged to the subsidiary

MAR

• Serve as the in-country point of contact for questions related to the MAR program
• Work with the regional MAR manager in processing all MAR requests from refurbishers in- country
• Conduct above steps for any non-presence countries tagged to the subsidiary

DISASTER RESPONSE

• Serve as coordinator for all disaster response requests for country(ies) covered by the subsidiary; drive eligible requests through the approval, fulfillment, accountability and recognition steps
• Serve as subsidiary liaison for Corp and regional disaster initiatives
• Conduct above steps for any non-presence countries tagged to the subsidiary
EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT

• Work with HR to secure approval of local volunteering policy and development of country program
• Serve as an active member of or advisor to the sub’s employee engagement committee
• Assist in strategic placement of employees in Community Affairs supported projects
• Promote employee engagement to employees, closely coordinating with the HR manager, Academic Manager and accessibility champ

OTHER

• Work with Integrated Marketing Communication Manager to provide appropriate messaging and visibility for Community Affairs programs
• Work with F&A team to ensure timely financial fulfillment of all donations
• Coordinate with LCA legal team on any MOUs required in Community Affairs programs
• Provide country feedback on all Community Affairs policies, programs and requests for reports
• Conduct other projects as necessary to ensure success of Community Affairs efforts in country (e.g. NGO day, participation in relevant forums, etc.)
Job Requirements
Years of experience:  7 year(s) 
Minimum career level:  Manager 
Minimum education level:  Bachelors 

Our Client is looking for qualified candidates with qualifications and experiences as bellows:

• Local Vietnamese
• Undergraduate degree in a relevant field
• Seven years prior work experience
• Prior experience in corporate citizenship, NGOs or grant-making organization
• Passion for community work and ability to interact with underserved communities essential
• Ability to conduct business in local language at native or near-native level
• Ability to conduct business in English (written and spoken)
• Ability and experience managing complex projects with multiple relationships
• Experience with external communication and program outreach
• Fluency in Microsoft software
