Job Description
As HR Business Partner, the jobholder will report to Southeast Asia HR Director and cover the following duties and responsibilities:

A. Scope of Role

The HR Business Partner will own building partnerships with the company management team and supporting them on the full-spectrum of HR activities. Specifically, responsibilities will include:
• HR Support and Strategy: Function as the point of contact of the HR function in country, developing strong business relationships with the management team. Build management capability to facilitate an open, inclusive, values-based environment which enables effective employee advocacy. Analyse and present information to the management team that enables good business decisions to be made.
• Recruitment: Develop and implement a hiring plan for Vietnam according to business plan, manage sourcing process (including management of external vendors, interview coordination, offer practices), and on-boarding of new employees.
• Performance Management: Assist managers and employees on performance management, including commitment setting, career development and annual performance assessment.
• Compensation & Benefits: Understand local market conditions and provide recommendations/input to annual salary and benefits planning process. Handle all benefits related queries and issues.
• Training and Development: Analyse training needs of managers and employees, assist managers to provide career development to employees, coordinate internal resources to provide relevant training to all employees.
• Management Development: Build management capability through coaching managers and identifying training opportunities.
• Being an employee advocate: Operate as a safe, objective employee resource and escalation path for unresolved employee relations issues. 
• Operations: Completion of all administrative HR Operations (payroll, new employee set up, engagement with Vietnam Labour Dept, Social Insurance, etc). Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements. Analyse & revise workflows to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Designing & rolling out HR initiatives: Designing, delivering and improving core HR programs and processes, integrating HR initiatives into the business and acquiring sponsorship in the businesses for HR initiatives.

Our Client is looking for high qualified candidates with qualifications & skills as belows:

A. Qualifications:

• Local Vietnamese
• Bachelor of Business Administration required, major in HR preferable. 
• 5-8 years of directly applicable HR experience, preferably with global/multinational organisation(s)
• Knowledge of IT and/or software IT industry is preferred, has hands on skills of MS office software such office, Excel and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated knowledge of applicable Vietnamese labour laws
• Must be able to multi-task, deal with ambiguity, work in a virtual team environment across groups in Southeast Asia and globally
• Have outstanding English writing and speaking skills
• Have the ability to work across a multi-functional, matrix organization and with employees at all levels
• Strong business acumen, project management, diagnosis, coaching, HRIS, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
