Deployment of Search products and features. As the Product Manager, you will coordinate the deployment of our search products with international counterparts and the local team. You will be responsible for dedicated interaction with our Yahoo! International Search teams, organising meetings, conference calls and setting schedules and ensuring all teams are on track. 

Defining and developing new features and functionalities. You will be responsible for defining and developing new features and functionalities. This will be based on your insights into the needs of the Vietnam market. You will be required to create product requirements and have a solid understanding of the technical details involving front-end search development as well as the core backend technology. You’ll need to manage product requirements around linguistics issues and specific search requirements for the Vietnam market.

Understanding and developing the business model. You will be responsible for understanding the business model, customer needs, and competitive landscape in which we operate. You will work with the monetisation teams on how to improve the revenue generated from Search. You will define the key success metrics and then measure and evaluate performance against these metrics. You will be responsible for growing search market share and ultimately see to it that our search product quality exceeds the competition. You will need the ability to prioritise among many competing alternatives and plans, balance consumer needs with business priorities, and articulate the rationale behind decisions

Liaise between regional and local teams. In this role you will present product plans and performance assessments of the Vietnam Search products. You will be a strategic product consultant for the local search road map, and also consider the global impact of locally-developed products and needs. You will share best practices from the local marketplaces, highlight top issues and priorities, and escalate problems.

Minimum career level:  Experienced (Non-Manager) 
Minimum education level:  Bachelors 

• 2-3 years product management experience with web-based search and database applications highly desired 
• Internet savvy and keen user of internet applications
• Excellent strategic analysis skills combined with strong business acumen 
• 2-3 years product management experience with web-based applications, ideally in the search field
• Vietnam internet market knowledge required
• Outstanding team player with the ability to coordinate people and activities across multiple functional areas and global locations 
• Ability to prioritise among competing opportunities, balance consumer needs with business priorities, and articulate the rationale behind decisions 
• Demonstrated strong capabilities in communicating and presenting at all levels of the organisation 
• Fluency in Vietnamese and English required
