The Legal Entity Controller is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the financial results of the legal entities in the location and ensuring business booking in the legal entities complies with the applicable regulatory requirements. The LEC ensures that other functional areas execute their identified responsibilities in a manner that maintains the accuracy of the books and records and escalates issues to the Senior Financial Officer (SFO) or Regional Controller. The LEC reports to the SFO in the location (or where there is no SFO, to the Regional Controller). Specific responsibilities include the following:
1. Local Regulatory Relationship and Reporting
• Point of contact for local regulators and the external audit team for financial reporting issues.
• Accountable for all financial and regulatory reports that are submitted on a stand alone LE basis to Corporate, US and local regulators.
• Analyzes and implements changes in local accounting and financial reporting regulations.
2. LE Governance & Structure
• Ensures that adequate capital ratios are maintained.
• Monitors financial reporting ratios required by local regulations.
3. Books and Records, Standards and Controls
• Accountable for the integrity of the local and US books and records of the legal entity, to be executed with reference to the Legal Entity Control Standards and applicable global policies. 
4. Tax Compliance
• Corporate Tax is accountable for the tax function in all Legal Entities, including tax compliance, contact with local tax authorities and analysis and implementation of changes in local tax regulations. In locations where there is no Corp Tax presence, the LEC may be asked to support Corp Tax in the execution of this responsibility.

- At least 3 years experience in the relevant industry
- Fluenly in English
